On today’s Around Atlanta segment, co-hosts Carol Morgan and Todd Schnick continue the month-long celebrations of six years of Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio by welcoming Dennis Adamovich, CEO and Malia Mack, marketing coordinator at Atlanta’s College Football Hall of Fame & Chick-Fil-A Fan Experience.
Since 2014, Atlanta has been home to the College Football Hall of Fame & Chick-Fil-A Fan Experience, a tribute to 977 players, 211 coaches and millions of college football fans that allows them an unmatched experience of the excitement surrounding college football and gamedays. The Hall is more than a museum, says Adamovich. Thanks to the sponsorship of Chick-Fil-A, making it the ultimate fan experience, and The Home Depot, making gamedays at the Hall a reality, college football fans can learn something new about their favorite coach or player or participate in the game day as seen on TV.
Tailgate Saturdays Built by The Home Depot recur every Saturday during college football season. This weekend’s Rivalry Day tailgate will be especially exciting. From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Saturday, fans from all over Atlanta can head to the Hall for gameday. The Hall’s football field shows four games at noon and 3 p.m. simultaneously, play tailgate games, kick field goals or compete against obstacle courses in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Skill Zone or participate in kids’ scavenger hunts. This weekend, fans can participate in a special scavenger hunt and win two tickets to the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl.
Other exciting events include the ESPN College Football Awards show, which is nationally televised and held at the Hall. The College Football Awards Red Carpet event is currently hosting a sweepstakes for one lucky fan to meet their favorite players and coaches. Learn how to participate here. Another fun way to visit the Hall is Deck the Hall, which begins Friday, December 15 and runs through New Year’s Day. Visit the Hall for showings of Christmas movies, visits with Santa and more.
More than hosting exciting events, the College Football Hall of Fame is a tribute the the best players and coaches in the game. However, it is more of an experience than a museum, Adamovich says. “At our core, we’re college football storytellers.” Exhibits include memorabilia, facts about players and coaches, fan participation in ESPN Gameday broadcasts and more that make the Hall the perfect place to be part of the excitement and history of college football.
