While everyone loves a good home cooked meal, sometimes you want to celebrate a special occasion or just take a break from slaving over a hot stove with a meal out at your favorite restaurant. Throughout the week of September 7 through September 14, our Cobb County homes residents are in for a tasty treat during Cobb County Restaurant Week, which will expose them to some of the area’s top dining destinations.

Cobb Restaurant Week showcases local eateries with special dining promotions of $15, $25 and $35 per person (plus tax and tip) three-course dinners and lunches. All you have to do to attend is to select from participating restaurants’ special three-course dinner menus. However, reservations are suggested since many of these of restaurants receive an overwhelming amount of customers during this week.

This year’s participating restaurants include Aspens Signature Grill, Big Chow Grill, The Butcher The Baker, Chepe’s Mexican Grill, Cinco, Don Pablos, Douceur de France, Henry’s Louisiana Grill, Jacks & Jills, Joe’s Crab Shack, La Paz, The Melting Pot, Ray’s on the River, Seed, Social Vinings, Soho, South City Kitchen, Stoney River, Ted’s Montana Grill, Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint, Vinings Inn and Willie Rae’s.

To get a sample of the week’s flavor a little bit early, you won’t want to miss the kickoff cook-off event on Wednesday, September 4 from 3 to 5 p.m. Held at Red Hare Brewing Company, this event will pit several restaurants against each other in a taste test to see who the audience favorite is.
