St. Patrick's Day in AtlantaLocated on Peachtree Street, the 138th St. Patrick’s Day Parade is the most popular March event in Atlanta. The parade takes place from 5 to 6 p.m. on March 12 on the streets of Midtown to honor the brave first responders of our beautiful city.

On March 11, Avalon in Alpharetta calls all leprechauns to celebrate the Luck of Avalon event! With special performances from North Georgia Pipes & Drums and King O’Sullivan School of Irish Dance plus specialty green beer, this celebration is one you won’t want to miss. Other fun activities include face painting, a photo booth, outdoor bars and more!

A summer kickoff celebration, the Suwanee Beer Fest and Beer Chaser 5k is the largest St. Patrick’s Day party in Gwinnett County. On March 19, attendees gather at Town Center Park to taste the wide selection of 350 craft beers, sprint the Beer Chaser 5k and rock out to DEPARTURE, a renowned Journey tribute band.

Guests are encouraged to dress up in their luckiest, greenest garb for the chance to win prizes. A portion of the proceeds benefits Cooper’s Crew, a local nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness and funds to cure childhood cancer and provide scholarships to students overcoming adversities.

Join metro Atlanta for the 7th Annual Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day 5k Run/Walk! On March 12, from 9:45 to 11:45 a.m., thousands of attendees will gather in front of Colony Square to participate in one of the country’s oldest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. Sponsor Colony Square is also hosting its 6th annual Luck of the Square celebration, providing premium parade views and access to the post-parade party zone sure to make all other attendees green with envy!

Shenanigans include raffle prizes, dancing, celebratory beer and more! Tickets range from $20 to $40, and all attendees must be 21 years and older. Register online here.

Support the local community this St. Patrick’s Day by visiting Smyrna for its annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival. In support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Team in Training, the 18th annual festival on March 17 to 19 at Atkins Park Tavern. Little ones are more than welcome to join the celebrations! Advance tickets are $7 per attendee and increase to $10 at the door. All guests under the age of 13 are free.

Pub Crawls & Events

St. Patrick's Day in AtlantaThe Dive Bar presents its 5th Annual Lucky’s St. Patrick’s Day Crawl on March 19, from 4 p.m. to midnight. The “luckiest crawl of the year,” all attendees enjoy two complimentary drinks, exclusive drink specials, local food, a lucky badge and lanyard, a chance to win $1,000 for best costume and access to the official after-party! Register ahead of time here.

Presented by Park Tavern, this year’s ShamROCK Fest will feature special guests Stop Light ObservationsEasy Honey and Silly Goose for a night you won’t forget! Deck out in green and head down for live music, drinks and good times. The festival’s menu selections include fried oysters, chicken tenders and shrimp baskets. Please note that food is not included in the ticket price.

Exclusively for guests 21 and older, furry friends are welcome to join in the rain or shine event! Located at the corner of 10th and Monroe, tickets are $15 per attendee and will increase to $20 as the event grows closer.
