This Mother’s Day, celebrate those you cherish most by participating in HomeAid Atlanta’s annual Atlanta community service fundraiser the Essentials for Young Lives Drive. HomeAid Atlanta is the charitable arm of the HBA that builds homeless facilities throughout the metro Atlanta area. Many Atlanta home builders are participating in the drive and you can too. Executive Vice President of the Atlanta Home Builders Association, David Ellis, shares why this drive is important and how families in the area can benefit.

The Essentials for Young Lives Drive will take place from April 25 to May 2. Donations are needed for diapers sizes one and up, baby wipes, baby food, formula and other baby product essentials to benefit homeless families living in shelters.

The Atlanta HBA has held the drive for 10 years. Last year, 37,000 items were collected, and the HBA hopes to collect even more this year. Please help them reach this goal and make this year an even bigger success.

All contributions are tax deductible. For more information or to located drop-off facilities, call 678-775-1401 or visit the HomeAid Atlanta website.
