The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA) recently hosted its Annual Installation and Awards Ceremony at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. During the ceremony, Carol Stone was presented with the 2022 Lewis Cenker Award!
As the HBA’s most prestigious award, the Lewis Cenker Award recognizes an individual’s lifetime achievements and contributions to the housing industry. This award is named in honor of an industry icon – Mr. Lewis Cenker was the GAHBA President in 1960 and is the only HBA member to serve as President of the National Association of Home Builders.
With over 28 years of experience within the home building industry, Stone is Head of the Home Builder Group financing at Coastal States Bank. Extremely involved with the Greater Savannah HBA and Greater Atlanta HBA, Stone is a member of the Board of Directors as well as the HBA of Georgia (HBAG) Board of Directors. As a Life Associate Director, Stone has received Associate of the Year from both GAHBA and HBAG, as well as the Presidential Award from GAHBA.
