Carol Morgan Founder and President of Denim Marketing is making Atlanta real estate history as a marketer and visionary, both locally and nationally. Morgan carved a niche within the industry that allows her to meet client needs and fill gaps across the industry.
Throughout her powerhouse career, Morgan has and continues to serve in leadership positions that connect her with industry moguls, developers and home builders one-on-one. Locally, she served as chair of the Sales & Marketing Council and is currently serving on the HomeAid Atlanta board for her fourth year. She was also a fundamental founding member of the Professional Women in Building council, presenting the idea to the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (HBA) Executive Board for approval.
On the National level, Morgan has been incredibly involved. She has chaired Professional Women in Building, as well as the Membership Committee and Associates Membership Committee. She is currently chairing the Public Affairs and Communications Committee. Other experience includes serving as Advisor to Chairman Greg Ugalde, a speaker at the past 17 International Builders’ Show (IBS) conferences, working on several Third Vice Chair campaigns and avidly supporting BuildPac at the Gold Key level. Morgan also authored four industry-focused books on social media, including her latest, “Social Media Marketing for Your Business.”
Morgan is a highly influential industry member who pays particular attention to the enhancement and support of affordable housing, workforce development, zoning and codes, DEI and women in the industry.
A visionary, Morgan was pioneering in the move to what would be called social media. In 2005, she began working with real estate bloggers and posting content to public relations sites. Soon after, she created Atlanta Real Estate Forum and a series of four other blogs. Morgan presented the first social media program in 2008 at IBS and wrote the first social media book for NAHB Builder Books. In 2011, Morgan launched the award-winning Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio show, delivering a platform for all industry members to share their stories via a podcast.
Morgan said, “I attribute my vision to my father, who was always exploring new technologies and finding ways to apply them to business.”
Day-to-day Morgan runs the agency’s high-profile public relations accounts working with land developers, home builders, commercial real estate advisors, build-to-rent companies and others. Her expertise in media relations scores placements in leading publications on a monthly basis.
In her free time, Morgan runs a 20-acre farm, trains and competes in dressage, cooks and tends her garden. She can also be spotted attending Broadway shows at The Fox Theatre and exercising her superhero talent (multitasking) to get it all done!
