Carolyn McKillop, an associate broker with the Peachtree City/Fayette County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty, has earned Short Sales and Foreclosures Resource certification from the Real Estate Buyer’s Council (REBAC) of the National Association of Realtors (NAR). McKillop, who has been in real estate for 12 years, joined Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty in fall of 2008 when her previous company, Century 21 Southern Crescent was acquired by the Bullard organization.
The SFR certification designation provides training to Realtors who strive to be trusted resources for short sales and foreclosures. Recipients of the certification are required to complete a qualifying core course through REBAC, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Association of Realtors.
REBAC, founded in 1988, is the world’s largest association of real estate professionals focusing specifically on representing the real estate buyer. There are more than 40,000 active members of the organization worldwide. The National Association of Realtors, is the world’s largest professional association, representing over one million members involved in all aspects of the real estate industry.
