Big news is coming out of Hall County as Braselton was named the top most recession-resistant town in America, according to the Gadberry Group. The Gadberry Group is based in Little Rock and provides location-based services and information data products. Basically, if you are looking for demographics about a specific area, city or town, Gadberry Group can help you out. With this being the business model for the company, they seem to be a pretty reliable source for determining what is a recession-resistant town.

The list is based on a statistical ranking systemt that analyzes cities that have continued to grow despite the state of the economy (total growth between 2000 and 2009), and Braselton has grown leaps and bounds. From 2000 to 2009, the average household income increased 67%. In the same time frame, the population has more than doubled and the number of households has grown 118%. There was not another city in the nation that could compete with Braselton’s statistics and the economic future for the city remains bright as construction will soon begin on a 200-acre retail village.

Want to live in a recession-resistant town? Who wouldn’t! Well, the good thing is that you have plenty of options for new homes in Braselton in a variety of different price points. Here are just a couple suggestions:
