PulteGroup, Inc., one of the largest homebuilding companies in America, recently announced that Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Bob O’Shaughnessy was awarded the 2020 CFO of the Year Award. This prestigious accolade was presented by the CFO Roundtable of Atlanta.
O’Shaughnessy joined PulteGroup in 2011 and served as a valuable member of the executive team. Throughout 2020, O’Shaughnessy continued to show great leadership, even amidst the COVID-19 (coronavirus) global pandemic.
“I am truly honored to be selected by my CFO colleagues from Atlanta-based companies as the recipient of the CFO of the Year Award,” said O’Shaughnessy. “While this may be an individual award, I accept on behalf of the entire team at PulteGroup for their tireless efforts and support during 2020.”
Bob O’Shaughnessy graduated from Lehigh University with a B.S. in accounting. His job responsibilities at PulteGroup, Inc. include overseeing the corporate accounting, treasury tax, investor relations, audit, information technology and asset management factions of the company. O’Shaughnessy is also responsible for the mortgage and title companies within the organization, amongst other daily tasks.
Based in Atlanta, PulteGroup, Inc. currently operates in over 40 markets across the country. Its vast portfolio most notably includes Centex, Pulte Homes, Del Webb, DiVosta Homes, American West and John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods.
The CFO Roundtable of Atlanta was established in 2004, and since its conception, has grown to become one of the most premier networking organization for Atlanta-based CFOs. The organization currently has over 300 members as part of its establishment.
Only two years after its inaugural year, the CFO Roundtable of Atlanta began awarding remarkable businessmen and women with the CFO of the Year Award. This award is presented to a CFO who not only demonstrates superb leadership but also continues to drive sustainable results throughout his or her career. The recipient is also known to be a good corporate citizen and patron of the community.
