Atlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates Berkshire Hathaway New HomeServices Georgia Properties and Marketing Results Inc. for winning a Gold OBIE in the Best Advertising Campaign – Associate (Budget Under $10,000) category for the advertising campaign announcing Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’ purchase of Prudential Georgia Realty. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards given in the Atlanta new home construction industry.
Marketing Results made a parody of Meghan Trainor’s “It’s All About the Bass” and called the video “It’s All About the Sale.” Builders were invited to participate in the filming, and one builder agreed to let the team paint a condo hot pink to tie in with the original video. The entire new homes sales and marketing team joined in on the filming at the newly-painted condo for an afternoon of fun. The video was a hit and immediately got more 800 hits on YouTube. It was followed by a direct mail campaign to local builders and the video was played at the Atlanta Homebuilders Summit Meeting in January. Phone calls from builders poured in, and the ad campaign even made its way to the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices corporate office.
The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association’s OBIE Awards celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2015. The awards began in 1980 and have grown throughout the years to include more than 100 building, remodeling, marketing and personal achievement categories.
