Atlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates Berkshire Hathaway City Haus and Marketing Results for winning a Gold OBIE in the Best Print Communications – Newspaper Ad category for No. 2 Opus Place, a new luxury condominium community coming soon to Midtown Atlanta. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards given in the Atlanta new home construction industry.

With condos priced from $600,000 to $12 million, its target market ranges from young urban professionals to the wealthy elite. Marketing efforts were creatively designed to appeal to both ends of the buyer spectrum.

In the arts, an opus number usually denotes a work of musical composition, a practice and usage established in the 17th century when composers identified their works with an opus number. No. 2 Opus Place’s name and marketing campaign was built around this music theme.

The ad campaign was strategically designed to resemble a sheet of music to stand out from the competition who was utilizing the tried-and-true small copy and large picture formats for their advertising campaigns. Instead, the Opus Place ad design focused on the exact opposite – larger copy and smaller pictures. Large, easy-to-read copy wrapped around artfully placed visuals that highlight the elegance and lifestyle of Midtown living.

This ad has been part of a very successful ad campaign. Over 390 registered potential buyers toured the state-of-the art sales gallery and the sales team has written 47 pre-sales with a sales volume of over $41 million – thus resulting in a chorus of accolades from the developers of this unique intown project.

The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association’s OBIE Awards celebrates its 38th anniversary in 2018. The awards began in 1980 and have grown throughout the years to include more than 100 building, remodeling, marketing and personal achievement categories. The OBIE Awards are named after the obelisk shape of the actual award given.
