On today’s episode of All About Real Estate on Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio, Steve Kallock, New Home Specialist with Majestic Lifestyle Builders at Lake Arrowhead, joins co-hosts Carol Morgan and Todd Schnick to tell listeners more about one of North Atlanta’s most beautiful master-planned communities.
This is Lake Arrowhead’s first appearance on All About Real Estate, however, the community has been taking over Cherokee County for several years. The community’s primary developer, Johnson Development Corporation, hired some of the most veteran Atlanta home builders in 2015 to make Lake Arrowhead the stunning new home community it is today, and that was how Majestic Lifestyle Builders was born.
Lake Arrowhead’s massive, glistening lake was developed in the ’60s. The lake occupies 540 acres of space and is 100 percent private, fed by natural springs and one of the cleanest lakes in the Southeast. Initial real estate sales and the golf course opening took place in the ’70s. The golf course was redesigned and reopened in the early 2000s. Today, the community boasts more than 1400 home owners and counting and offers a natural paradise with resort-style amenities and stunning, comfortable homes.
The community is known in Atlanta for its diverse array of amenities, so there is a way for everyone to get involved and active. Amenities include the lake, boating, a boat rental program at the marina, kayaks, canoes, motorboats, pontoon boats, fishing boats, an on-site certified sailing instructor for anyone who wants to learn, multiple pools, pickleball courts, tennis courts, eight miles of nature trails, a 40-acre park with outdoor fitness equipment, playground area, clubhouse with dining room and veranda with bar area and, of course, the 18-hole golf course. Kallock says the developer plans to add even more amenities in the future.
Majestic Lifestyle Builders is currently developing several new home projects within the community. Highlands Vista, its ranch home section of Lake Arrowhead, is marketed toward active adults, primarily. This section of the community is centrally located to the park, clubhouse and golf course. Sanctuary Cove, the builder’s lakefront development, showcases 28 homesites with several right on the water. The projects offer several types of homes at a variety of price points, so there will be something for everyone.
