Last month, the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council (Atlanta SMC) presented HomeAid Atlanta with an $11,000 donation raised at the SMC 2016 Silent Auction, held in December 2016.

The Atlanta SMC’s annual silent auction event was held at the Hyatt Atlanta Perimeter at Villa Christina, together with the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (HBA) holiday party. Over the past 20 years, the silent auction has raised around $100,000 for charity. In past recent years however, the SMC’s silent auction earnings have been donated solely to HomeAid Atlanta, the official charity of the Greater Atlanta HBA.

“I’m proud of the Atlanta SMC’s involvement with HomeAid Atlanta,” said SMC Special Events Committee Member Ansley Brooks. “HomeAid is a wonderful cause and we’re excited to see all the lives changed this year through our donation.”

The Atlanta SMC, with the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, hosts educational programs, certification programs and more for sales and marketing professionals. To learn more or to become a member, visit AtlantaHomeBuilders.com.
