For the second year in a row Atlanta is ranked #1 on U-Haul’s Top 50 U.S. Destination Cities list. The latest rankings are based on moving statistics compiled from more than one million U-Haul truck transactions occurring between Jan. 1, 2008 and Dec. 31, 2008. The ranking reflects destinations for movers traveling more than 50 miles and considers every city in the United States, regardless of size. Here is a list of the top 10 destination cities according to U-Haul’s 2008 moving statistics:

#2 – Houston, TX

#3 – Los Angeles, CA

#4 – Las Vegas, NV

#5 – Denver, CO

#6 – Portland, OR

#7 – Chicago, IL

#8 – San Antonio, TX

#9 – Austin, TX

#10 – Orlando, FL
