RE/MAX Around Atlanta Duluth agent William M “Mack” Perry wants fellow REALTORS® to learn how to get their Web sites ranked higher on major Internet search engines such as Google, MSN and Yahoo through the Search Engine Optimization classes he teaches around Atlanta.
Gwinnett based real estate agent Perry said many agents have personal Web sites, but they need direction on how to make their Web sites appear in Internet searches. The classes he teaches give fellow agents tips on various aspects of Search Engine Optimization for their online marketing and blogging.
Perry recently launched his own blog, www.lovingatlantaliving.com, as an informational resource that people visit daily to find out what’s going on in Atlanta.
“I launched the blog Dec. 9, and so far I’ve gotten great feedback from it,” said Perry, who has been an Atlanta REALTOR for eight years. “This is an informational blog for people who are searching for Atlanta news, happenings, attractions and of course real estate. Most REALTORS who have a blog just talk about real estate. Even though it will take longer to build, I want to provide visitors with more information.”
“With search engines apparently indexing blog posts quicker than Web pages, the blog just made sense. While providing information, it is also a valuable source of prospective customers and provides an avenue for open dialog via the comments section for each article. You have to continually add content to it, and www.lovingatlantaliving.com updates often.” Perry uses www.lovingatlantaliving.com as an Internet resource while still maintaining his primary Web site, www.mackperryhomes.com.
