Looking for something to do near your new Atlanta dream home this Independence Day? Atlanta certainly has no lack of exciting Fourth of July events designed for the whole family or a night out with friends!

One of Atlanta’s biggest traditions for this holiday is the AJC Peachtree Road Race. While registration for this event is closed, you can still watch from the sidelines beginning at 7:30 a.m. as 60,000 runners complete a 6.2 mile course.

If you’re searching for something fun for the whole family, be sure to stop by The Children’s Museum of Atlanta. Children will have the chance to create American flags, decorate water bottle holders and funglasses.

Maybe you’re planning out a night out with friends? If so, start your holiday out with a bang atop of the world’s largest aquarium. The Georgia Aquarium is proudly presenting the “Red, White & Brew” fest complete with barbeque, drinks and an unbeatable view of the Centennial Olympic Park fireworks. The event, held July 4 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., costs $55 until July 2.

Cap off your evening with the Centennial Olympic Park fireworks! This spectacular show will begin at approximately 9:40 p.m., but entertainment and fun begin at 6 p.m.

No matter where you choose to celebrate, we hope you have a fantastic day celebrating America’s 235th birthday! If you’re still looking for the perfect piece of Atlanta real estate or for more Atlanta news, be sure to explore our site.
