The real estate market for Atlanta new homes in the Atlanta, Ga., area is on the rise this year and home buyers are curious about this year’s change. According to RE/MAX MLS database, the five hotspot cities include; Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Decatur, and Lawrenceville.

The Johns Creek community is the most popular city within the metro Atlanta area offering a great school system, enjoyable shopping centers, parks and a big boom in employment opportunities for homebuyers.  The market area for Atlanta new homes has increased with 620 homes sold in 2015. In the city of Alpharetta, Ga., the median price for homes has soared $20,000 over the listing price, which is key factor in the popularity growth of the community.

The rural community in Decatur, Ga., has now increased its buyer interest and sales price producing a more desirable interest with the population at 20,000 people. With the close proximity to Atlanta, it’s no doubt this market area will increase. Alongside in Lawrenceville, this community has no signs of slowing down. In 2015, 2,922 homes were sold, which makes this a city to watch for new home buyers. This area includes highly –ranked schools, family-oriented attractions and amenities.

Snellville, Ga., is an up and coming area to watch this year as well. The community is undergoing new developing improvements for easier commutes to Atlanta and business districts. The home pricing has increasing and the median sales price estimates at 150,000.

These five hotspots for Atlanta new homes are expected to have continuous growth and high demand in 2016 and years to come.
