Corey Hunter with Woodman Insulation is this week’s guest on the award-winning Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio show. Corey shares information on how to use insulation to make your home more energy efficient, and his interview is followed by round table discussion with Ada Love on increasing your home’s curb appeal for spring.

Corey Hunter is the Vice President of Sales for Woodman Insulation. Corey has been in the construction industry in 15 years and he has been with Woodman Insulation for 10 years.

Woodman Insulation has been providing excellent custom service and the best products at competitive prices for the past 27 years. While insulation has always been a key component to any building, homeowners today are much more concerned with this lesser seen aspect of their home as they focus more on energy efficiency and comfort. Corey says that there has been a shift from years prior where builders and homeowners were less focused on insulation to today where he sees them coming in with prior knowledge and research as well as an idea of what they want.

Our next guest is Ada Love who is the President of Get More Curb Appeal, the only online design service that offers home makeover and landscape design plans for half the cost. Ada has many years of experience in the real estate industry and with Southern Living magazine, which makes her the perfect expert when it comes to making your home look better both inside and out.

Since spring is the air, many homeowners are focused on how they can increase the curb appeal of their home. Ada says that the first steps are to create a budget and to honestly assess what you like and don’t like about the exterior of your home. Then, you can get started with quick updates such as installing outdoor lighting, putting in a new walkway or garden, building a new porch, replacing your garage doors, cleaning up your yard and home and even repainting your front door, trim or siding. These quick, budget friendly tips alone can help increase your home’s value by up to 10 percent!
