Executive Vice President of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association David Ellis joins Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio show co-hosts Carol Morgan and Todd Schnick on this week’s All About Real Estate segment.

The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association works as a sustaining resource to those in the Atlanta-area housing and construction industry through educational programs, networking and advertising opportunities and advocacy work.

Recently, the Greater Atlanta HBA hosted their 36th Annual OBIE Awards. With more than 600 guests in attendance, the OBIE Awards serve as a highly coveted celebration and recognition within the home building and marketing industries.

According to Ellis, Atlanta is the third-largest new home market in the United States behind Houston and Dallas, estimating about 20,000 new homes coming to the area in 2017. Every county in the Atlanta area is up in new home sales and building. Gwinnett, Forsyth, Cobb and North Fulton are some of the fastest-growing counties.

Builders, remodelers, and suppliers, even banks or law firms that focus on building and land cases, should consider joining the Greater Atlanta HBA.
