James Munsey with Unique Outdoor Concepts is this week’s guest on the award-winning Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio show. James talks about outdoor living trends, and his interview is followed by a discussion with Howard Hsu of the Atlanta Food Truck Park.

James Munsey is the president of Unique Outdoor Concepts, and is an Atlanta native who has owned and operated his own businesses for his whole career.

Unique Outdoor Concepts is a complete outdoor design and build firm that was founded to fill a large void in Atlanta market for a design-build firm that works with homeowners from design to conception. Right now, they are hard at work on their summer projects including finishing up construction on pools. Some of the most popular pool trends this year include using saltwater instead of chlorine, and utilizing perimeter overflow systems (wet edges) and infinity edges. Of course, another big trend is outdoor living spaces, including living areas, kitchens with pizza ovens, large grilling cooktops and other gathering areas.

Our next guest is Howard Hsu, the owner and founder of Atlanta Food Truck Park. Howard is also an Atlanta native, and he grew up in the restaurant business, so starting his own food truck and the food truck park was a natural fit.

The Atlanta Food Truck Park, located off of I-75 on Howell Mill Road, is home to 20 to 25 food trucks each day. Some of the trucks, including Howard’s own Sweet Auburn BBQ truck, are permanent residents, while others will visit the park on a weekly basis. Based on a similar concept in Austin, Texas, the goal of the park is to be a gathering place and entertainment venue for the community.

For more on upcoming events and what you can expect at the food truck park, listen to the full podcast. To see the full schedule of trucks and to learn more, visit the Atlanta Food Truck Park website. ______________________________________________________________________
