Both tricks and treats await visitors at Six Flags Fright Fest, today’s guest on Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio’s Around Atlanta segment. As Halloween quickly approaches, Gary Petriello, the communications manager for Six Flags’ Atlanta properties, is on hand to discuss all of the attractions that can be enjoyed during Fright Fest.

During the Halloween season, visitors can enjoy thrills by day and frights by night at Six Flags Fright Fest. The Harvest Festival is perfect for children during the day, complete with a corn maze, pumpkin painting, arts and crafts and trick-or-treating. In addition, kids 12 and under can wear their costume to the park and participate in a parade alongside Looney Tunes characters. Just keep in mind that no one, costumed children included, is allowed to wear a mask inside the park!

As dusk approaches and the fog rolls in, Six Flags will transform to a frighteningly different park that is not for the faint of heart. Those who dare to remain in the park after 6 p.m. can enjoy seven haunted attractions, five scare zones and five live shows while they’re haunted by more than 200 monsters who roam about the park.

This year’s Fright Fest offers several new goosebump-inducing attractions, including a brand new show called The Uprising. Held at the Dare Devil Dive stage in the USA section of the park, the show tells the story of Baron Von Vile’s evil army, which is sent out into the night to search for new recruits.

In addition to all of the spook-tacular fun that can be found during Fright Fest, all of Six Flags’ regular attractions are operating. Attendees can partake in the unique opportunity to enjoy the rides at night, which offers a new thrill as roller coasters and other rides plunge, flip and fly into the dark.

Tickets for Fright Fest start at $41.99, while a Haunted Attractions pass is $20. Visitors can also bundle Fright Fest and Haunted Attraction passes starting at $56.99. 2014 Season Passes still work for admission into the park during Fright Fest, and Six Flags is currently offering an exceptional discount for those who wish to purchase a 2015 Season Pass. 2015 Season Passes start at $49.99 and include admission to this year’s Fright Fest and the new Holiday in the Park experience, which will be held Nov. 22, 2014 through Jan. 4, 2015, in addition to admission to the park throughout 2015.

Six Flags Fright Fest can be enjoyed every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from now through Nov. 2. The Park is open from 6 p.m. until midnight on Friday, 11 a.m. until midnight on Saturday and noon until 10 p.m. on Sunday.
