Today’s All About Real Estate edition of Atlanta Real Estate Forum is live from the 34th annual OBIE Awards! Jeff Kingsfield with John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods is on hand to discuss the builders Gold OBIE Award for Best Building Design in the $400,000 to $499,999 category, as well as its plans for an exciting 2015.
Awarded a Gold OBIE for the new Mayer floorplan at River Crest in Tyrone, John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods was honored to be recognized for creating an exceptional floorplan. The builder was excited to introduce this plan to the public, which underwent intense scrutiny before being released. The John Wieland team, along with Rob, the company’s Director of Design, has worked hard to create great plans that provide everything buyers are looking for in a new home. The group walks a new plan, compiles their notes and then adjusts the plan accordingly. Once the changes have been made and the plan perfected, it is released to the market. This has been a great exercise that has resulted in 43 new home plans, including the Mayer, being cultivated over the last six months.
John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods has been building beautiful move-up homes in the Atlanta real estate market for more than 44 years, and the company is widely recognized by home buyers throughout the region. Currently, the builder has 18 neighborhoods throughout metro Atlanta, including those in Fulton, Cobb, Cherokee, DeKalb, Fayette, Forsyth and Gwinnett counties.
When asked about what 2015 holds for the builder, Kingsfield says that it’s going to be a great year with 14 new neighborhood openings planned. In addition, all 14 neighborhoods will offer new model homes showcasing the best of John Wieland’s homes!
