After winning a Gold OBIE award for Whole-House Renovation of an Atlanta Home, Barry Wright, president of Intown Renovations, tells Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio how excited he was for Intown Renovations’ achievement.
The home in Midtown received a lot of positive feedback from the community and the industry. The overall exterior of the house lends itself to nothing having changed, yet the interior reflects a contemporary update, while the living space has more than doubled. Architectural detail provides a natural flow between rooms and floors. The kitchen was opened by the addition of a screened-in back porch on top of a previously non-existent two-car garage. This home has become a model for other renovations in the neighborhood.
Wright says how much hard work goes into these one-of-a-kind renovations, as well as a lot of love.
Wright also talks about how Intown Renovations is doing very well this year. “We made it through the tough times and I’m excited for 2016.” Buyers will want to keep an eye out for Intown Renovations and the amazing work they’ll be doing in the next year.
The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association’s OBIE Awards celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2015. The awards began in 1980 and have grown throughout the years to include more than 100 building, remodeling, marketing and personal achievement categories. The OBIE Awards are named after the obelisk shape of the actual award given. To see all of this year’s OBIE award winners, visit www.AtlantaRealEstateForum.com/OBIEs.
