Rob Lee with HavenBrook Homes is this week’s guest on the award-winning Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio show. Rob talks about the single-family home rental market, and his interview is followed by a discussion with Joe Schulman of the Tellus Museum.

Rob Lee is the Chief Executive Officer of HavenBrook Homes, a full service property management, brokerage and construction company.

HavenBrook Homes is focused on buying single family houses, renovating them and then leasing them. Leasing from this company is a great option for someone who wants to live in a home instead of an apartment or multifamily unit, but doesn’t want the commitment of owning their own home. HavenBrook currently has a growing portfolio of more than 700 homes all across the metro Atlanta area, which they have chosen due to the nearby schools, neighborhood safety, walkability, local amenities, low crime rates and other factors.

This week’s Deal of the Day is from Lennar who is selling their final home at Wexford in East Cobb for a discounted price of $469,900 if you write a purchase agreement by November 30. This Hathaway plan home features four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a master on the main, gourmet kitchen, an outdoor living package, three-sides brick exterior, three-car garage and much more. To learn more about this home and community, visit the Lennar Atlanta website or call Patti Dunn at 404-931-7462.

Our next guest is Joe Schulman who is the director of marketing for the Tellus: Northwest Georgia Science Museum.

Tellus is a 120,000 square foot Smithsonian affiliate museum located in Cartersville. Opened in 2009 as an expansion of the existing Weinman Mineral Museum, Tellus features a little bit of everything when it comes to science. At the museum, you will find gems and minerals, dinosaurs, earthquakes, models of the first cars, aviation models, a planetarium and plenty of interactive activities for the kids, including a fossil dig and gem panning. The museum will also soon be home to a NASA approved Apollo exhibit, which will feature many artifacts from these missions including the largest moon rock in the state.
