Our next guest is Brian Macaluso the CEO of Dr. Roof. Based in Roswell, Dr. Roof is a residential and commercial roof replacement and repair company. In their 24 years, Dr. Roof has serviced over 80,000 customers in the metro area. In addition to repairing and replacing roofs, Dr. Roof also does work on everything related to the outside of your home–siding, windows, decks, doors, painting, etc.

If you’re like most people, you don’t really know when your roof needs replacing unless water starts leaking into your home. Brian says that the most common way to gauge when a roof needs attention is by the age. If you’re roof needs replacing, and you’re thinking about making it more “green,” there are a couple of options out there. The most common eco-friendly fix Dr. Roof currently offers is non-electrical venting. However, Brian shared that there are a few manufacturers who offer solar powered shingles, and Dr. Roof has applied to be the first Georgia company to be eligible to sell and install them.
