Tim Shipskie and Brian Milbrett, who both have a long history in the Atlanta real estate market, are the managing partners of CORE Homebuilders
CORE Homebuilders was founded in late 2011 with the goal to build a quality, environmentally-friendly home that families can enjoy for many years to come. Their first neighborhood is Baxley Ridge in Duluth, which offers an eclectic mix of homes priced from the low $240,000s to low $300,000s. If you’re looking for homes in the Brookwood High school district, visit them at Brookwood Village in Snellville; this commuity is priced from the low to mid $200,000s with both alley and front-entry homes. Finally, they are finishing up the Villages at Huntcrest community in Lawrenceville with traditional two-story homes priced from the $290,000s to low $300,000s and an amenities package.

Our next guest is Laura Flusche who is the executive director with the Museum of Design Atlanta. After teaching art history and archeology in Rome, Italy for 15 years, she moved to Atlanta in order to be part of the museum world.
The Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA), which is located in the Midtown Arts Corridor across from High Museum, will celebrate its 25th anniversary next year. The goal of MODA is to show how design changes everyday life and makes the world a better place. Everything we use in our daily lives is designed in some way or another, and the things that work best often merge functionality and creativity to do so. Because the museum has no permanent exhibits, visitors can get a taste of something new and different every few months. So far this year, exhibits have touched on local Georgia designers, a mid-century architecture show and women as designers of video and other kinds of games.
To hear more about the current and upcoming exhibits at MODA, listen to the full podcast. To learn more, visit the Museum of Design Atlanta website.
