Jack Berube is this week’s guest on the award-winning Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio show. Jack talks about improving broker and agent efficiency, and his interview is followed by a discussion with Garnie Nygren of Serenbe.

Jack Berube is the founder and CEO of CORE. Jack worked with Fortune 50 companies for more than 10 years on a business side, and since 1999, he has started six companies, three of which are real estate related.

CORE is a managed services firm for brokerages and a productivity services group for real estate agents in the United States and Canada. For brokers, CORE can help with all of your back end services including virtual HR, accounting, social media, technology and transaction management. For agents, CORE is there for all of your non revenue tasks such as data entry. Whether you’re a broker or agent, CORE is designed to help you get back to doing what you do best by providing consistent and relevant services only when you need them. Jack’s philosophy is that time equals money divided by distractions, so the more time you can spend training or with clients, the more productive you are and the more money you can make.

Our next guest is Garnie Nygren who is the director of operations with Serenbe. Garnie is a native Atlantan who attended hotel and restaurant school at Cornell University, and then moved back home to what is now Serenbe after graduation.

Serenbe is an 1,000 acre sustainable mixed use community development located just 25 minutes south of the airport and 40 minutes south of Midtown. When complete, the development will have 300 densely developed acres and 700 acres of permanently protected green space with 2,500 total residents. Serenbe was born out of the Nygren family’s passion for the land, and their desire to fight urban sprawl. Today, 400 people spanning all ages and lifestyles call this community home with 70 percent of those residents living in the community full time and 85 percent of the secondary residents living between Midtown and Buckhead.
