Angelique Baez and Jean Hilyard are this week’s guests on Atlanta Real Estate Forum radio. Angelique shares with listeners information on Construction Resources fall clearance sale for a cause, while Jean talks about the Greater Atlanta HBA’s designated charity, HomeAid Atlanta.
Angelique Baez is the director of design for Construction Resources. Angelique has always wanted to do something creative in regards to her career, and when she moved to Atlanta, she had the opportunity to start lending her design sense to home builders.
Construction Resources is a group of companies including Atlanta Marble, Atlanta Kitchen, Atlanta Glass and Mirror and other out-of-state companies. They have a more than 5,000 square foot full-service showroom where customers can browse and see how all of their products work together with the assistance of the company’s design team.
In addition to offering all of these fabulous products, Construction Resources also hosts a bi-annual clearance sale. In the fall, a portion of their proceeds from this sale are dedicated to Homes for Our Troops. This year’s fall sale will be taking place next weekend, October 12 and 13. All of their products will be on sale including the Cambria line of quartz countertops, which will be 15 percent off!

Our next guest is Jean Hilyard who is the program manager for HomeAid Atlanta, the designated charity of the Greater Atlanta HBA. As program manager, Jean organizes care days, shelter projects, fundraising events, the Essentials for Young Lives drive and more.
HomeAid Atlanta was founded by the Greater Atlanta HBA as a way for homebuilders and industry professionals to use their trades and services to assist those in need within the community. Their mission is to provide dignified housing where homeless individuals and families can rebuild their lives. They build homes and apartments through the donation of services and materials from the homebuilding industry, which allows them to provide the residencies at a low cost to the service providers who run the shelters. In addition to providing housing, these shelters also offer life services such as financial management, job skills training, counseling and more.
