Carter Bell with Carter Bell Properties is this week’s guest on the award-winning Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio show. Carter shares her insight into today’s market, and her interview is followed by a discussion with Kim Hatcher of Georgia State Parks and Historical Sites.

Carter Bell is a broker with Carter Bell Properties. As an Atlanta native and daughter of a developer, she has turned her love of the area and for real estate into a successful career.

Carter Bell Properties is a small opportunity that is currently selling beautiful properties in Buckhead, Sandy Springs, Vinings and Brookhaven. Carter’s advice for today’s seller is that you need to price your home for today’s market, complete any necessary repairs to make it move-in ready and stage it so that it is ready to show for potential buyers. For today’s buyer, she says that you need to think through how you want to live. If an older home in a smaller community with a shorter commute appeals to you, consider buying in town; if a larger, newer home with a longer commute sounds ideal, the suburbs may be where you need to settle down. Also as important as ever is making sure you have an agent whom you can trust and who will guide you through the process.
