Today’s Around Atlanta guest on Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio is Russ Belin, the vice president of Broadway in Atlanta. Sponsored by Fifth Third Bank, Broadway in Atlanta has been the premier presenter of nationally-touring Broadway shows in the city for more than 32 years.

Broadway in Atlanta brings some of the biggest and best shows to Atlanta every year. In fact, seven of the eight shows that will be shown this year are still running in New York! This season has a spectacular lineup that includes Wicked, Motown: The Musical, Pippin, Dirty Dancing, Disney’s Newsies, The Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia! and Blue Man Group.

Patrons interested in attending more than one show each season can become Season Subscribers. Through this program, attendees can enjoy a full subscription package that includes admission to all of the shows, or three-show mini packages that offer three styles of shows – Broadway Favorites, Soaring Choreography or For All Generations. In addition to admission tickets, Season Subscribers receive a variety of benefits based on which package they choose. Benefits range from discount savings at more than 25 local attractions and restaurants to priority access to the best seating and pre-paid parking vouchers.

The program brings New York directly to Atlanta by way of the Fox Theatre, a historic venue in downtown Atlanta with 4,678 seats. Known as a favorite venue for performers and audiences alike, the Fox Theatre was originally a home for the Atlanta Shriners organization. Today, it hosts more than 300 live shows per year.

Broadway in Atlanta has recently launched its arts competition. The competition is a search for the perfect commemorative series art piece that captures the entire season in one picture.
