Nancy See with the Atlanta Board of Realtors is this week’s guest on the award-winning Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio show. Nancy talks about the importance of using a Realtor to buy a new home, and her interview is followed by a discussion with Steve Stroud of the Roswell Business Alliance.
Nancy See is the president of the Atlanta Board of Realtors, and she has been in real estate since 1984. Today, she is the managing broker for Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty’s Buckhead and intown offices.
The Atlanta Board of Realtors is a trade organization that is part of the Georgia and National Association of Realtors. The Atlanta board is the largest in the state of Georgia with 5,000 members and counting, but that is significantly less than the 10,000 members they had before the recession. To be considered a Realtor, a real estate agent has to be a member of this organization, which places an emphasis on education and holds their members to high ethical standards. Nancy believes successful Realtors must possess a variety of qualities including being highly knowledgeable, committed and detail oriented.

Our next guest is Steve Stroud who is the executive director of the Roswell Business Alliance. Steve is a Roswell native and business owner who decided to form the Roswell Business Alliance in order to develop the economic division of the city.
As the state of Georgia’s seventh largest city, Roswell is truly a hometown and community for many metro Atlanta residents. While the city may be known for its abundant recreation opportunities along the Chattahoochee River, bike friendliness, festivals, award-winning schools and of course, the charming Canton Street, it is also home to a multitude of businesses on both the national and local scale. These businesses, whether it’s GM or a local cupcake shop, are drawn to Roswell because it offers a community of passionate individuals who are also highly educated with a high per capita income.
