Since Dwayne has been in the market for several years, he has seen many changes in the home building industry. One of the biggest changes is the introduction of the Internet. There once was a time when buyers found homes by driving through the areas they wanted to live in, but now everyone researches Atlanta real estate on the Internet before they even set foot in a sales center. As a continuation of the Internet trend, smart phones and tablets are also beginning to play a key role in home sales. Last month, Ashton Woods Homes saw 15,000 visits to their mobile page and app from mobile devices.

Our next guest is Michele Velchek the CEO of Solid Source Realty Companies. Michele, who has been in the industry for more than 20 years, started Solid Source in 2003 working as a single mom from the third bedroom in her home. Since then, the company has grown to include over 2,800 real estate agents in 13 offices across the metro area.
Michele has definitely seen the market start to pick back up again. Her company has opened three new offices in Johns Creek, McDonough and Camp Creek in the last 12 months.
