Today’s All About Real Estate guest is Marty Anker, president of Arthur Rutenberg Homes, a custom home builder. In business for more than 60 years, Arthur Rutenberg was one of the pioneers of modern homebuilding, and he started what is now the largest franchise network of custom home builders in the United States.
As a franchise of home builders working under the Arthur Rutenberg name, the group shares a collective knowledge and purchasing power. More importantly, each builder has access to a propriety business management system that makes the building process more efficient and accurate for its clients. In addition, there is a team of individuals working behind the scenes to provide resources far beyond the scope of those that a small custom home builder would have access to.
Just one of the many resources available to those within the Arthur Rutenberg network is an incredible collection of home designs. The Arthur Rutenberg custom home design collection includes plans that range from 2,800 to more than 7,000 square feet. These unique and inspired designs offer many fresh, creative elements that aren’t seen in the homes built by production builders in Atlanta, such as sweeping staircases, wine bars, wine cellars on the main floor and oversized, flowing kitchens. In addition, many of the Arthur Rutenberg home plans feature open space across the rear of the home with sliding glass doors that open to beautiful, well thought-out outdoor living spaces that are great for both everyday living and entertaining.
Anker states that the most popular home plan currently offered by Arthur Rutenberg is the Bordeaux, a French country-style home with sweeping rooflines, stone and painted brick exteriors. Just under 6,000 square feet, the home is spacious with a variety of dramatic features. Currently, Anker is building a Bordeaux plan at The Manor Golf and Country Club in Milton as a model home. Nearing completion, this home should be fully decorated and open for touring in May.
Based in Milton, Anker also builds in Cherokee, North Fulton, South Forsyth and Cobb counties. In addition, Anker is excited to announce that he will now be building in The River Club, located in Gwinnett County.
