Carol Morgan and Colby Henson are this week’s guests on Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio. Carol talks about this year’s Community of the Year OBIE Award winners, while Colby shares information on the newest communities from Red Oak Homes.
Carol Morgan and Todd Schnick open this week’s show with a conversation about this year’s Community of the Year winners from the 32nd Annual OBIE Awards, which are hosted by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association and the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council. These prestigious awards give honor to excellence in building, marketing, remodeling and personal achievement within the Atlanta real estate industry.
This year, four Community of the Year awards were handed out. The attached community winner is The Preserve at Fischer Mansion, which is located on the historic Fischer Mansion property in Atlanta. The mixed use community award went to West Highlands in Atlanta from Brock Built Homes, while the master-planned community award was received by Sterling on the Lake in Flowery Branch. Finally, Cresswind at Lake Lanier was named the 50+ community of the year.

A majority of their communities they have been working in are located in Smyrna including Grady Manor, Cottages at Parkview Village, Medlin Place, Spring Street Village and Concord Lake Village. They are also starting work in two new West Cobb communities priced from the $200,000s, Vineyard Place East and Bruster Manor.
