Today’s All About Real Estate guest on Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio is Chuck Miller of PulteGroup, who is on hand to discuss its 50-Plus Community of the Year Award, which it received at the 34th annual OBIE Awards.
Sun City Peachtree, an active adult community from Del Webb, a division of PulteGroup, was honored as the best 50-plus community in metro Atlanta. Located in Griffin, Sun City Peachtree will have 3,400 homes throughout its 1,750 acres once completed. Started in August 2007, the community is home to an outstanding amenity package which offers everything today’s active adult desires.
Sun City Peachtree is known for its 45,000 square foot amenity center, which is home to an indoor walking track, tennis complex with four courts, a fitness center, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a ballroom, dog park, children’s play park, walking trails, pickle ball and so much more. In addition, the community has a private 18-hole golf course and more than 30 social clubs and interest groups.
PulteGroup plans to continue adding to the amenity center in 2015 by completing its lower level and adding more pool tables, card tables and a 150-seat theater with a state-of-the-art sound system and stage.
Sun City Peachtree now offers 10 new consumer-driven home plans with prices starting in the high $150,000s. Featuring 1,100 to more than 2,500 square feet of living space, the homes include options for loft living spaces, sunrooms, lanais, extended garages and walk-up attic storage spaces. The community also has a new model park showcasing many of these new floor plans.
