The 35th Annual OBIE Awards is scheduled for this Saturday, Nov. 7 at the Georgia World Congress Center. Hosted by The Greater Atlanta Home Builder’s Association’s (GAHBA) Sales and Marketing Council (SMC), this night honors the successes of those in the Atlanta real estate industry.
Atlanta Real Estate Forum will feature articles on all of the Gold OBIE Award winners beginning this Saturday night and continuing throughout the month of November, giving site visitors and newsletter subscribers an in-depth view into the winners, the projects and communities that were recognized during this prestigious awards competition.
In addition, before, during and after the show, Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio hosts Todd Schnick and Bryan Nonni will be onsite recording interviews with some of Atlanta’s most well-known builders, Realtors and industry insiders. Interviews will be conducted prior to the awards to capture the excitement of the event, as well as after the show with some of the night’s biggest winners.
The OBIE Awards began in 1980 and have grown throughout the years to now feature more than 100 building, marketing, remodeling and personal achievement categories. The OBIE Awards are the premier awards in Atlanta’s residential building industry, and the gala promises to be a night to remember for the entire building, real estate and construction community in Atlanta.
During the ceremony this weekend, gold recipients for awards in categories such as marketing, building, personal achievement and remodeling will grace the stage. In addition to recording radio interviews, our own Bryan Nonni will be on stage during part of the presentation passing out awards. Additional awards, including the Lewis Cenker Award, Builder of the Year, Communities of the Year, Associate of the Year and Council Chair of the Year will be announced.
