GCI dogThis month, Atlanta’s favorite real estate blog turns three years old. With every passing year, the blog has grown in popularity and in content. For home shoppers, the blog provides information on Atlanta new homes for sale. In addition, it offers information on local real estate events and pertinent industry news, like details on the home buyer tax credit. The blog is highly ranked by the search engines and has received national recognition, including being named one of the top 75 real estate blogs in the nation. To celebrate our third anniversary, we have decided to raise funds and increase awareness for the Georgia Canines for Independence, and we need your help in doing it.

The Georgia Canines for Independence is an Atlanta non-profit organization that is near and dear to our hearts. You may have seen them at Greater Atlanta Home Builder Association meetings and events. Regardless, they provide trained service dogs to increase the independence of people with physical disabilities, medical conditions and other special needs. Basically, the organization gets the dogs as puppies and invests many hours and dollars in training them to be service dogs. Veterinary care, food, shelter and all other expenses for these dogs is the responsibility of GCI, and the more donations and funds the organization receives, the more dogs they can train for those in need.

Atlanta Real Estate Forum will match the first $500 donated to GCI until December 31st, on funds that are tied to the anniversary. So, when you make the donations, be sure to somehow make it clear that it is part of the AtlantaRealEstateForum.com anniversary contribution campaign to ensure that we match it. You can donate online or via mail.

Thanking you for celebrating our 3rd anniversary with us.
