During the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association’s recent Installation and Awards Program, HomeAid Atlanta announced its 2016 award winners, including Builder of the Year, Trade Partner of the Year and Volunteer of the Year.

HomeAid Atlanta, a nonprofit organization that builds and renovates housing facilities and conducts community outreach for Atlanta’s homeless population, was founded in 2001and is the official charity of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association.

The Professional Women in Building (PWB) Atlanta Chapter was awarded
HomeAid Atlanta’s 2016 Volunteer of the Year Award. Atlanta PWB held an Essentials Drive Collection, took part in a HomeAid Care Day and collected household items to help stock HomeAid’s Conyers shelter.

The 2016 Trade Partner of the Year is Sherwin-Williams, who donated around 300 gallons of paint for HomeAid’s Conyers shelter and participated in HomeAid Care Days that included a painter training program for people working to improve their lives.

Paran Homes was recognized as the 2016 Builder of the Year after donating printers to HomeAid and furniture to its
Conyers shelter and participating in Care Days, an Essentials Drive and in HomeAid’s annual Housing the Homeless Golf Tournament.
