    Join the Professional Women in Building Atlanta chapter (Atlanta PWB) for its February program meeting to kick off 2018! On Wednesday, February 14, Atlanta PWB will host its first lunch program meeting of the year with Melissa Proctor, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of the Atlanta Hawks as the program’s keynote speaker.

    february program meetingProctor joined the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club and Philips Arena in 2014 and is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for the Atlanta Hawks. She began her career with Turner Broadcasting Systems, serving in senior brand development and strategy positions for Turner Entertainment Networks and Cartoon Network. Her professional achievements have earned her recognition in the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2016 class of 40 Under 40 and, most recently, on Inc.’s 17 Inspiring Women to Watch in 2017. Proctor’s presentation will include her passion for working for the NBA, the challenges that strengthened her commitment to personal and professional success and the responsibility that accompanies reward.

    The lunch program will be held from 11:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Registration and networking opens at 11:15, followed by lunch and the program beginning at noon. Attendees will enjoy a tasty lunch provided by the venue, The Hyatt Regency Perimeter at Villa Christina. The Hyatt is located at 4000 Summit Boulevard in Atlanta.
