Gold OBIE Award Winner Logo

Ashton Woods Homes Wins Gold OBIE for Best Community LogoAtlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates Ashton Woods Homes for winning a Gold OBIE in the Best Logo – Community category for Aria. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards given in the Atlanta new home construction industry.

When creating the Aria logo, Ashton Woods wanted to accomplish a few things. First of all, have the logo be flexible where it can have multiple configurations and color schemes based on how it was being used. Next, they wanted the logo to be timeless and sophisticated. Very important was for it to speak to the natural beauty of the land with the duality of town and country, urban and nature. Finally, the builder wanted to make sure it complemented the Ashton Woods logo. They were able to achieve all of these items with the vibrant Aria Icon. Offering a horizontal two-color and one-color along with a stacked version of each allows the builder many options based on the background and space allotted for placement of the logo.

The Aria icon can be used as a design element when dividing two pieces of content, accomplishing the marketing of duality for Aria. Beyond being used as a dividing element between content, the Aria icon can also represent duality by housing imagery inside the negative space of the mark. By overprinting the “yellow” of the Aria brand on a lifestyle image, it provides a distinctive design touch allowing the piece to stand out from the core Ashton Woods brand even at a glance.
