Responding to economic and population trends is much like steering a ship; it takes time. On today’s segment of All About Real Estate on Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio, David Tufts, President of Ansley Atlanta Real Estate, joins co-hosts Carol Morgan and Todd Schnick to discuss how his firm responds to these trends with agility, foresight and innovation.
Tufts has overseen the growth of Ansley Atlanta, a boutique real estate and development firm, from 22 to 82 agents in one year, with a “dominant focus is in Buckhead.” He points to the research division of the team as a driving factor in their success. “We work to understand the value and positioning” of every home. What Tufts sees is a “lack of new product in Atlanta [that] should be driving new development.”
Ansley works with developers to supply just that, with several projects under construction now. He describes Pinewood Forrest as a “live, create, play community of high design with every man pricing.” This community in Fayetteville targets “the creative class” with a café society, and even forthcoming tree houses. Pinewood Forrest is just one of the many innovative projects in the Ansley Atlanta portfolio. Others include Broadview Place, Moda R-Town and Moda on Church as townhome living with amenities, proximity and affordability.
Tufts says that Ansley handles resale properties as well as new construction. He says that Ansley Atlanta’s “great marketing team creates a plan that gets to a sale quicker.” In fact, he says his firm can sell a $2 million property faster than anyone else. His team averaged $5 million in sales last year.
