The Atlanta Real Estate Forum radio show returns with an All About Real Estate edition. Shelby Feinberg, sales manager for Piedmont Residential, spoke to co-hosts Todd Schnick and Carol Morgan about some of Piedmont Residential’s fine communities and what makes Piedmont Residential so special.

Its Brookside community in Dallas provides an excellent location that matches up with its excellent and affordable homes. The lot sizes in Brookside are spacious, which allows for great backyards, and the community’s amenity package includes a brand new pool.

Homes at Brookside come standard with vinyl siding, but buyers have the option to upgrade to a virtually rot-free and fireproof hardy plank siding if they choose. Like all Piedmont Residential communities, Brookside is located in a great school district which includes Abney Elementary, Moses Middle School and East Paulding High School.

Another community Feinberg highlighted was Harmony Creek in Hiram. These homes start in the $160,000s and are located right across from a great new hospital. Buyers can find more excellent schools in this community with their children attending Hiram Elementary, J.A. Dobbins Middle School and Hiram High School. Harmony Creek homes share the same siding options as the Brookside homes, which gives buyers a better opportunity to build their dream home.

Feinberg went on to talk about some of Piedmont Residential’s most popular communities and why they are so. Their homes in the Paulding area have been popular, which is pleasing to see considering many questioned their decision to build there two years ago, but the area has grown since then.

Crown Club in Parks at Cedarcrest is right at closeout, and Piedmont Residential is moving through its homes in Harmony Grove. Feinberg sees Paulding as the new Kennesaw with its location, growth and great school districts giving buyers their money’s worth.

Piedmont Residential is focused on providing affordable homes for first-time buyers. Their pricing is what sets them apart from other companies, and they always try to start their prices as low as possible which allows the buyers to then add on to the home with whatever fits within their budget. This means they don’t include things like hardwood floors or granite countertops in their base prices, but those options are still available.

This is a company growing at an exponential rate. They’ve grown every year, and last year Piedmont Residential closed on 210 homes, which was the highest they’ve ever reached. This year, they’re on track to close on 275 homes, so the signs are positive.

As a growing company, Piedmont Residential will be able to spread its theme of quality and affordability to more and more families. Because they hate to assume they know what a buyer wants in their home, they allow for affordable options, so those buyers can have the financial ability to customize their home the way they want. Piedmont Residential will continue to perform as one of Atlanta’s premier builders.
