John Brewer, a professional engineer born and raised in Huntsville, Ala., is the Managing Director of the new location.

In his capacity as Managing Director, Brewer will oversee the office’s day to day operations and client relations. He will focus on procuring new projects as well as managing the design and permitting of projects as they get underway. AEP plans to rapidly expand the Huntsville office over the next year with the addition of more civil engineers, surveyors, landscape architects, and government relations specialists.
“We see lots of initial opportunities to work with residential home builder clients in the area,” states Brewer. “From there we plan to grow into multi-family residential and commercial site design.”
Brewer is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in Civil Engineering and a Minor in Environmental Engineering. He has since worked in civil site design focusing on single and multi-family residential, mixed use and commercial design and project management.
With the opening of its new office, AEP will serve Huntsville builders and developers with its signature kinetic style, one that fosters creativity, productivity and successful design solutions that go beyond the expected.
