Alec Rickenbaker with Peachtree Res

President of Peachtree Residential Alec Rickenbaker joins co-hosts Carol Morgan and Todd Schnick for this week’s edition of the All About Real Estate segment of the Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio podcast. Tune in to hear the trio discuss Peachtree Residential’s unique communities filled with urban farmhouse-style homes.

An Atlanta native, Rickenbaker has worked in the area as a home builder and landscape architect. With over 30 years in the housing market, Peachtree Residential builds luxury homes throughout Atlanta and Charlotte. Notably called “the builder who listens,” the home building company prides itself on offering a wide array of personalization options to new homeowners. Peachtree Residential provides a design center where homeowners can choose from a variety of selections to customize different features within their new home.

“With move-up buyers, they’ve obviously owned houses before and have learned a lot about what they want and what they don’t want. With our pretty wide array of plans and options that we offer folks, they can really personalize what they do,” said Rickenbaker.

Many contemporary homes from Peachtree Residential offer the urban farmhouse aesthetic which has risen in popularity. From brick water tables to board and batten siding and inviting porches, the builder’s homes offer a relaxed yet stylish look by implementing thoughtful features in their design.

Currently, the builder offers unique new homes in several new communities. Waterside at River Glen, a new community located within the existing River Glen neighborhood off Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Suwanee, Georgia. Now preselling, this Gwinnett County community offers 22 incredible homesites, including 17 homes with direct access to the Chattahoochee River.

Garden Park is a 28-lot gated neighborhood in the highly-rated West Forsyth High School District. Placed in a beautiful location, the single-family homes in this community priced from the low $600,000s feature Peachtree Residential’s popular master-on-main floorplans. Ward Mills Farm in West Cobb offers 41 homesites priced from the mid $500,000s to high $600,000s showcasing popular urban farmhouse designs. Located off Lost Mountain Road, the community offers convenient proximity to Lost Mountain Park, The Avenue West Cobb and other West Cobb attractions.

Among the builder’s Charlotte communities, Blackwood Knoll offers 22 large homesites in the town of Huntersville. Priced in the $700,000s, Blackwood Knoll is an active community that includes a Great Lawn with an open area for outdoor activities.

Summit at River Run in Davidson offers unique opportunities including both townhomes and single-family homes. Both South Charlotte neighborhoods, Kristen Lake and Hennigan Place each provide a limited collection of eight to nine beautiful homes priced from the $700,000s. One of the builder’s most successful communities, McLean is a master-planned community located in the town of Belmont.

With locations in both Atlanta and Charlotte, the Peachtree Design Center boasts talented designers to guide homeowners throughout the home design process. Peachtree Residential has noted current design trends among buyers include simple designs, textured layers, black hardware, light gray or neutral walls, floating shelves and black window mullions among other features. Peachtree Residential offers a variety of design packages to fit the modern design elements buyers are seeking.

When building new homes, Peachtree Residential prioritizes placing its new communities in the city’s best school districts. The builder focuses on the real estate value and popularity of these districts because families prefer to live in the best school districts.
