Adams Homes is pleased to announce Judy Mapp as its new General Manager of the South Atlanta Division. As general manager, Mapp will lead a team of professionals to fulfill the company’s mission of delivering value to customers through a straightforward approach to building quality new homes. She joined the Adams Homes family in 2014 and has shown an incredible work ethic and a commitment to the company mission.
Since 2005, Adams Homes has been a leading home builder in Georgia, providing quality homes for more than 30 years. The company has built more than 50,000 homes since 1991 in over seven markets across the United States and is a top privately-held builder in the Southeast.
“I love being an integral part of the building process as houses go from dirt, framing and drywall to a family’s dream home,” said Mapp.
Mapp has been an active member in the real estate industry for over 25 years and has been with Adams Homes for almost eight years. Her resume includes 18 years of experience as a broker with The Mapp Group LLC, an associate with Crown Communities and a broker and realist with Hudd Summit.
Mapp holds a bachelor’s degree in financial forensics and a master’s in business administration from Colorado Technical University. Additionally, she is a graduate of Leadership Clayton with a certificate from the Georgia Academy of Economic Development and the United Way VIP.
Outside of Adams Homes, Mapp serves on the Professional Women in Building (PWB) board, where she is the co-chair of the membership committee. Mapp also shared that it is a rewarding opportunity to be a part of PWB, saying, “…the support, collaboration, networking and the collective ‘Girl Power’ provides the opportunity to learn, grow and develop lasting relationships.” She believes persistence paired with focus has allowed her to create a limitless possibility of success.
Mapp enjoys spending her leisure time with family and friends at the beach, at the theater or hosting game night playing Scrabble. As a constant life learner, she expands her education through reading and researching areas of business, as well as how to better serve her community.
We offer a hearty congratulations to Judy Mapp on her promotion at Adams Homes.
