It’s never too late to find your perfect home, as Bruce and Sally Nagel recently discovered. This week The Atlanta Journal Constitution chronicled the couple’s search for a new home, which took them to Soleil Laurel Canyon, one of Atlanta’s premier active adult communities.

The Nagels previously resided in Cumming, Ga., before deciding that a change was necessary. After visiting several locations and searching for over a year, the couple decided that a community close to family and friends was most important and turned to Soleil Laurel Canyon. Both of them were impressed with Soleil’s atmosphere and amenities and sold their home in nine weeks. With the sale finalized, they chose a finished home so that they could move into the active adult community within 30 days.

At Soleil, the couple looked at 14 floorplans including the Goldenrod, the Alabaster and the Amber models before making their final decision. The Goldenrod is a two-bedroom, two-bath model that is Soleil’s best-selling floorplan. The Alabaster is a ranch-style home with three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, an open floorplan and an extra room for a home office or an additional bedroom. The Amber is a larger model with three bedrooms, three baths, a den and a covered porch.

After much deliberation, the couple decided to go with the Alabaster model. The home was the perfect size and had everything the Nagels needed. Since moving in, both Bill and Sally have joined some of Soleil’s 50-plus clubs and have enjoyed using the indoor pool and walking trails. The couple also loves all of the activities available in the 28,000-square foot clubhouse.

If you’d like to find out if Soleil Laurel Canyon is the place for you, do what the Nagels did and take a tour of this wonderful active adult community.
