About Sales, Inc. welcomes Jason P. Janssen as the new vice president of sales for the innovative real estate sales and marketing company.

Janssen has more than 15 years of experience in the real estate industry, starting as a sales person and working himself up to sales management positions with major national home builders.

A native of Green Bay and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Janssen Began his career in the real estate business in 1996 after serving as a state aide for U. S. Senator Herb Kohl.

He started out as a real estate sale representative and quickly moved up to sales trainer, then sales manager, and director of sales. During his career he worked for both small family builders and large national builders, consistently increasing sales and closings.

Before joining About Sales Inc., he was general sales manager for the Pulte Group, one of the nation’s top 5 builders, where he managed Del Web and Traditional community marketing, real estate relations, recruiting and grass roots sales campaigns, achieving 110% of his goal in the first quarter of 2011.

As vice president of sales for About Sales, Inc., Janssen will manage sales and marketing for two of the company’s largest clients, Stonecrest Homes and Jim Chapman Communities, with a total of 12 communities.

Janssen’s responsibilities include recruiting and training new sales agents, developing strategies to create awareness for the builder brand and the community, reporting regularly to the builder, and analyzing to ensure that the plan is working.

“My role is to make sure we have the right people with the right training and to see that we have the right program in place to accomplish the builder’s sales and financial goals in each individual community, he said.
