  • AFB International is set to make an impact from its new facility in Columbus, opening later this year. After investing over $79 million into its Georgia location, the pet food ingredients manufacturer hopes to create 100 new jobs and further fuel employment in Georgia.
  • Anduril Industries continues to grow the defense technology sector in Atlanta with a new $60 million manufacturing and research facility.
  • Boehringer Ingelheim invested $57 million into a new facility at its Animal Health Global Innovation Center. The 63,000-square-foot facility is set to open later this year, providing more space for pet and wildlife vaccination testing and further establishing Boehringer Ingelheim’s presence in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Boston Scientific is making advancements in the medical device sector from its manufacturing and supply chain facilities in Johns Creek. The company committed $62.5 million to upgrading these facilities and hopes to create 340 new jobs over the next seven years.
  • Denkai America put roots down in Augusta in 2022, solidifying its North American headquarters. The headquarters and manufacturing facility will be completed by December 2024 and Denkai will take precedence as North America’s only electrodeposited copper foil manufacturer.
  • Duluth Trading Company is creating over 300 jobs in Adairsville with its new distribution facility. The company invested $53 million in the facility to add more jobs to the Atlanta market, improve shipping estimates and support its footprint of retails store across the southeast.
  • Ecopol, an Italian biodegradable film manufacturer, continues to make progress on its first North American facility in Spalding County. The company invested more than $38 million into its Griffin facility and hopes to make a sustainable impact in Atlanta and nationwide.
  • G&A Partners recently added more operations in Georgia, North Carolina and Southern Florida. The PEO-company is bringing HR-outsourcing expertise and better Cigna plans for small and mid-sized businesses in southeast hotspots like Atlanta, Miami, Raleigh and Charlotte.
  • Hanwha Advanced Materials Georgia, Inc. added a new manufacturing facility to its Cartersville factory this year and plans to be fully functional by 2025. As a global leader in clean energy solutions, Hanwha invested approximately $147 million into this project and will create over 160 jobs.
  • Home Chef, a Kroger-owned meal-producing company, recently expanded into Douglasville with a new, full-service kitchen facility.
  • Jack Link’s, a meat snacks manufacturer, recently invested $450 million into a new manufacturing plant in Perry. This advancement will expand the company’s global reach and provide 800 jobs in metro Atlanta.
  • Meissner Corporation, a bioprocessing company, plans to provide a whopping 1,700 jobs over the next eight years, thanks to its new $250 million facility in Athens-Clarke County.
  • Okabashi Brands, a third-generation family-owned shoe company, is doubling production from its Buford facility, investing $20 million over the next five years and adding 340 jobs in the process.
  • PHA, a global auto parts manufacturer and Tier-1 supplier for Hyundai Motor Group, is coming soon to Chatham County! Investing $67 million in a new facility, this expansion will create more than 400 jobs for metro Atlanta workers.
  • Profile Products recently moved to Monticello in Jasper Clounty with a $35 million campus. The sustainable agriscience company anticipates 80 jobs will become available.
  • Proctor & Gamble Distributing, LLC, an American multinational creator of personal healthcare and hygiene products, is up-and-running in the Atlanta market with a $205 million distribution facility in Jackson. The Butts County location will provide 350 new jobs in the next couple years.
  • Saint-Gobain ADFORS North America, leading the international light and sustainable construction sector, created 400 new jobs this year in Laurens County.
  • Sam’s Club invested more $142 million towards a new fulfillment center in Douglas County last year. This strategic move will transform the company’s entire supply chain and create 600 new jobs across metro Atlanta.
  • Seohan Auto, an automotive parts developer and manufacturer, has created at least 180 jobs this year at its new $72 million manufacturing facility in Liberty County.
  • Seoyon E-HWA, a global auto parts manufacturer, has made an impact in Chatham County, establishing a new manufacturing facility that has created almost 740 jobs.
  • Sewon America, a subsidiary of Sewon Precision Industry Co. in Korea, has begun construction on its $300 million production facility in Rincon, marking the largest private investment in the city’s history. This facility, opening for operations in 2025, will create approximately 740 new jobs in the metro Atlanta workplace.
  • SK Battery America, a subsidiary of the South Korean conglomerate SK Group, began operations this year at its regional IT hub facility Roswell, boosting the job market with 200 high-tech jobs. The company plans to invest approximately $19 million over the next few years.
  • SungEel Recycling Park Georgia, a lithium-ion battery recycler and raw materials provider, is boosting Atlanta’s sustainable business sector by recycling end-of-life batteries and battery manufacturing scrap at its Toccoa location.
  • Tim Hortons, a Canadian coffee and breakfast chain, made its debut in Columbus, now expanding into Atlanta and Fairburn.
  • 80 Acres Farms is bringing vertical farming to metro Atlanta with a new $120 million facility in Covington! The facility will generate more than four times as much food as 80 Acre Farms’ largest facility in Ohio.
