Today’s All About Real Estate edition of the Atlanta Real Estate Radio Show features Kristy Corrigan, new homes specialist with Engel and Volkers Buckhead Atlanta. Kristy stops by to discuss Stonecrest Homes and the new communities the builder is working on in the Atlanta-area.
Engel and Volkers Buckhead Atlanta is a brokerage firm that started in Germany in 1977 and made its American debut in 1996. One of the builders represented by the firm in the Atlanta-area is Stonecrest Homes. The builder prides itself on building a quality product and operates on a customer-centric philosophy. Charles Heiser, Jr., Stonecrest’s owner, values customer feedback and market trends and uses this information to continually evolve the designs, style and features of Stonecrest’s homes, product efficiency and best practices.
What sets the builder apart from other new home builder’s in Atlanta is its desire to be the best and most efficient home builder in the market. Kristy adds, “Stonecrest Homes is not in the business of developing raw land or owning large amounts of developed lots.” The builder emphasizes correctly designing, building and warranting its homes.
With communities in Atlanta’s most desirable settings, Stonecrest builds single-family homes that feature open floor plans and utilize space efficiently. Trends that the builder has seen in the market and have implemented in its homes include stone, brick and shake exteriors, open and spacious kitchens, large master bedrooms and spa-like master bathrooms.
There are two new Stonecrest Homes communities in the works, Blackberry Ridge and Waters Lake.
Blackberry Ridge is located in Cumming and features homes priced from the high $700,000s. The established, private, gated community sits adjacent to the Echelon Golf Course and is close to the Alpharetta and Crabapple area. Homes in the community will sit on lots of two acres or more and there are two custom Executive Country Estate homes currently under construction in the community. These homes will be available for closing by December and an additional six home sites are available for pre-sales.
Buyers will be able to choose from a variety of Stonecrest Homes’ spacious floor plans and elevations. The homes currently under construction sit on lot 32 and lot 33. Both are priced at $789,900, include more than 4,000 square feet of living space and have five bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. Interiors feature daylight basements, three-car side-entry garages and chef’s kitchens with Kitchen Aid appliances and under-cabinet lighting. Additionally, the master suites in these homes include fireplaces, a sitting area and a resort-style master bath. Although this community is in Alpharetta, it is part of Cherokee Couty, which means lower taxes for homeowners and access to top-rated Cherokee County schools.
Waters Lake is located in Woodstock and features homes priced from the high $400,000s. Stonecrest has three homes under construction in the community that will be available for a November or early-December closing. Two homes feature master-on-the-main floor plans and are priced at $479,900. The third home is a second-floor master priced at $489,900. Both homes sit in a Cul-de-Sac and on half-acre lots at home sites 26 and 27. Home site 31 also sits on a half-acre. All three homes include basements and three-car garages. Interiors include chef’s kitchens with stainless steel appliances, large master suites with sitting areas and spa-like master bathrooms. These homes range from 3,300 to 4,300 square feet in size and offer four to five bedrooms and three-and-a-half to four bathrooms.
The conservation community is built around a lake that features a dock, a children’s playground, an outdoor pavilion, grilling station and stunning views. The community is convenient to Alpharetta and Roswell, but it still offers residents distance from the commotion of the city. Downtown Woodstock, Canton Street and downtown Roswell is close and offers a variety of shopping and dining choices.
In addition to working on these exciting new home communities, Stonecrest Homes is also preparing for a catered luncheon at Waters Lake that will be held on Thursday, Nov. 12 from 11:30 a.m. until 2. Along with to being able to tour three homes in the community, event attendees will have a chance to enter fun giveaways. Another agent luncheon is scheduled at Blackberry Ridge in December.
