Winmark Homes Donates to Bert’s Big Adventure

Winmark Homes recently illustrated their generosity through the donation of various items to Atlanta’s local charity “Bert’s Big Adventure.” For those Atlantans who listen to Q100, you are probably familiar with the “Bert Show” and their yearly trip to Walt Disney World in which they take children with chronic or terminal illnesses and their families on an all-expenses paid trip, known as “Bert’s Big Adventure.” The morning show spends a greater part of the year fundraising for the annual February trip, trying to make each year better than the previous one. In early February, with the departure date growing closer, the “Bert Show” issued a wish list of last minute items still needed to make the trip truly magical. Michelle Jenkins, President of Winmark Homes, heard the request during her morning drive, and decided that Winmark Homes would assist in supplying those remaining items this year. The entire company became involved in searching for DVD players, CDs, digital cameras, two-way radios, memory cards, rain gear and more. Kudos to Winmark Homes for helping provide happy and magical memories to these families by contributing to this extraordinary cause.
